Post-Doctoral Residency

Authentic Connections Consortium (ACC) is a training organization consisting of Lone Wolf Psychological Services and Artemis Psychology. At ACC, we see a critical part of our role in the community as helping to train and invest in the next generation of therapists. We offer a comprehensive training opportunity for doctoral trainees in a private practice setting dedicated to social justice values and relational practice. 

 

Post Doctoral Residency at Authentic Connections Consortium (ACC) 

​

ACC offers a comprehensive Post-Doctoral Residency in private practice for therapists with a PsyD or PhD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. This residency experience includes:

​

  • Weekly didactic training with licensed therapists and trainees

  • 1 hour of supervision provided weekly

  • Group consultation 

  • Opportunity to provide supervision to practicum students

  • Ability to see individuals, couples, and groups

  • Access to private pay referral networks

  • Flexible scheduling

  • All overhead expenses provided

  • Furnished office space and amenities

  • Ability to see clients in person and via telehealth

  • Marketing resources 

  • Specialized training in: Couples therapy (Gottman training available), Sex and sexuality, Relational Trauma, Family of origin issues, Premarital therapy (Prepare/Enrich certification available), Kink/BDSM, and Therapy with varying relationship structures, gender expressions, and sexual orientations 

 

Candidate Requirements: 

  • PsyD or PhD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology

  • Completion of an APA-accredited internship

  • Experience and interest in working with couples

  • Available to see clients in person

  • Ambitious and self-motivated

  • Dedicated to social justice issues, cultural humility, and anti-racism

Doctoral Practicum Training

ACC offers a comprehensive training placement for advanced practicum students within graduate psychology programs. This practicum training includes: 

 

  • Weekly didactic training with licensed therapists and trainees

  • 1 hour of supervision provided weekly

  • Group consultation

  • Ability to see individuals, couples, and groups

  • Furnished office space and amenities

  • Ability to see clients in person and via telehealth

  • Professional development regarding establishing and growing a private practice

  • Specialized training in: Couples therapy, Sex and sexuality, Relational Trauma, Family of origin issues, Premarital therapy, Kink/BDSM, and Therapy with varying relationship structures, gender expressions, and sexual orientations 

 

Candidate Requirements: 

​

  • Current 2nd year or above in graduate doctoral psychology program

  • Available to see clients in person

  • Interest in working with couples

  • Available on Tuesdays

  • Dedicated to social justice issues, cultural humility, and anti-racism
